Cherri Bornman

​Cherri Bornman is a worship leader and speaker based in rural Mid Michigan. A community builder who uses her gift of gab, leadership, music and hospitality to invite women to find their place at God’s table where all are welcomed to discover and share their life story. Cherri is passionate about helping women heal from wounds of broken relationships and find themselves reunited in community with God, others and themselves.  After a very difficult season of Cherri’s youngest daughter almost dying from kidney & heart failure to a miracle transplant, Cherri found herself in a season of disconnection.  It was then that she established Welcome to the Table ministry for gathering women monthly in her home to share a meal and for those seeking community to connect, heal and affirm each other and their God-given gifts no matter their season of life.

By weaving together personal stories, music, and Scripture, Cherri invites those in her audience to experience fulfilled lives with a loving God who made them in His image with gifts that He wants them to use to invite many to join Him at His banquet table. 

While she loves leading worship, speaking and creating experiences for women to encounter God- Cherri most enjoys spending time with her family- husband Cornelius of 25 years and their three very talented beautiful daughters Abby, Becca and Jaelle. Cherri is a huge fan of coffee, hosting friends and family in their home, traveling, and teaching music, piano and choir at her studio, Cherri’s Heartsong Studio.
